My GOD, this series!!!!! I am obsessed now. I have the books, the blanket, the shirts.beware, those who dare to watch this show, you will be spending a massive amount of time loving this show.

The characters.so complex and well-formed. It is Ciel and Sebastian's relationship and dynamic that make this show so unbearably amazing. Story.can't even put into words about the story development because.just.because. The English dubbed version is not like any other dub I've ever heard before. They took the ball and they ran with it. The cast for the voice-over is perfect!

They really put a lot of work and effort into making the voices their own. I actually prefer the English version over the Japanese version, which, I believe, is why they took away the free streaming of the English version so people would need to buy this set. In short.BUY THIS! You will want to watch it over and over and over. This was one of the first two anime that I watched and knew it was an anime. It is a great series that has subtle hints of comedy and horror/ slight gore. This is a MA rated anime because of the violence and blood/ minimal gore.

I got this because of the liscencing change Aniplex put out preventing the sales and streaming of the Dubbed anime. While I could watched it subbed (which has better translation) I couldn’t watch the comical English dubbing that has the accents that match the setting of England. Free v24 dnc software.

Because of the liscencing change, there are very few copies of the first season being produced. Its a great series that I can go back to every now and then and be happy watching everytime. What can I say historical, enjoyable, fun to watch and very fast paced for any fan of dark fantasy. This series is a good place to start if your interested in historical fiction in general.

It's very intriguing with such an excellent set of well developed characters and the artwork is downright beautiful. Though I must Ciel Phantomhive caught my attention most with his comex character development for such a little boy he's a down right badass. It's very rare to see children act out as much as Ciel does and I garentee you musnt let his adorable appearance misguide you.

Though the setting is quite unique I like how the history of England is added to it. Plus it also educates you a bit on European cuisine as well as giving a brief introduction on Indian culture as well. It's a fantastic series that will captivate it's audience til the very end. I highly recommend this anime to anyone who likes anime not just girls due to the Andranious style.

But still a butler like Sebastian Michaelis will remind you just how cool butlers can be. Plus theres a whole selection of awesome characters to choose from so take your pick. Grab your fancy plate of fish and chips and Earl gray too and enjoy the excellent performance Aniplex and funimation gives you cuz I assure it's simply one hell of a joyride. I'm a huge fan of Black Butler, and this is most definitely a must have for fans of the series!

A great series and Season one is definitely​ the starting point for fans new to the series. Is a great series about the perfect butler serving his young master Ciel.
