Cara Connection Lumia 510 Dengan Pc
Hi all I have been searching and searching forums and the internet in general trying to find a way to tether the phone to my computer, using the phone as a modem. Unlimited internet and tethering is quite common in the UK with speeds exceeding landline broadband. Now, I know this can be done via Wifi but this drains the battery considerably and I have concerns about the safety of Wifi. From what I can find, it's up to the manufacturer to enable this feature on their phones but it doesnt look like Nokia have done so.
Di sini Ane akan Share Cara untuk Menjailbreak Nokia Lumia 710. Power Secara Bersamaan lalu mengkoneksikannya ke PC hingga short Vibrate ). Mode dengan cara.
I am using a Nokia 900 7.8 and Nokia 920. I love these Lumias but looks like I may have to switch back to Android (for my USB tethering) if this is not possible. IPhone also has this capability but I dislike Apple a lot. Does anyone from Nokia read these posts?
If you take a look at the customers suggestions page for Windows Phone (at microsoft site), you will find this is quite a popular request! Windows Phone does not support tethering over USB. You can connect the phone to mains or using the USB cable to the PC to charge while using Wi-Fi. I would not know what concerns you would have as far as using Wi-Fi? Use the secured settings and you should be fine.
While mostly condoned (still) tethering a computer to your phone is actually not allowed with most carriers, even in the UK. Actual speed is also way below your average ASDL connection and even more compared to cable. And the 'if I do not get what I want I will 'have' to go back to Android' line is getting a bit old really. If Android is your cuppa tea then go. Thanks for the useful info:-) I have unlimited data + tethering inlcuded in my mobile plan, this is for real and not uncommon in the UK mobile market!
I get between 12-14mbps typically and have hit 18mbps at times, whilst my landline can only provide 7mps max.I can download upto 100gb in a month no problem, and if I wanted more, it would not be an issue. I work in the mobile industry and I am not making this up! I have both a Lumia 900 and 920 which are exceptional communications devices and Windows Phone is a superp operating system. Does anyone know if USB tethering is coming soon? HTC support this in some of their Windows phones and on some older Samsungs it can be activated by way of entering a diagnostics code.
Does anyone know if Nokia plan to support this? It used to be possible to tether through Zune actually, but that was disabled long ago and Windows Phone 8 does not support USB tethering at all afaik. Which carrier are you with to get >10Mbps (I assume you meant Mega and not milli) sustained throughput on tether? You may get that on the phone, but on a tethered connection I doubt it. It woudl require at least HSDPA+ which the 900 for one does not do. But whatever.;) And honestly 100Gb (about 100MB) is not all that much, unless you are trying to say 100GB which I seriously doubt will be covered by any fair use policy.
I'd really like to know which carrier would allow as much abuse of their network:D If my response answered your question, please click 'Mark as Answer'. Have to do the last one first. You knew the answer to your question when you posted, popular request at Microsoft site. Up to the manufacturer? To be able to tether a phone a USB modem driver has to be installed as part of the USB cable driver.
Safety of WiFi? It's pretty safe when your phone is creating the Wi/Fi connection.
Using the phone as a modem, USB tethering, is old technology. Adobe photoshop elements 10 serial key crack. Using the phone to create a WiFi Hotspot for several devices is the new technology. Wouldn't want to tke a step back would we. Lumia 1520.3 Surface RT. I`m on Three - it`s called the one plan.
